The agreement of the 24 small parties with the two established ones has ended in failure. PM Berisha has vetoed the change of election system so that he can weed out every single party of the Albanian parliamentary life.
On the other hand, although Rama does not want to change the system, he seems to have tipped the political bill to Berisha’s court. As such, the table headed by the Social Democracy Party leader Paskal Milo could not strike any agreement at all regarding the correction of the system in terms of vote equality.
