Blatter: Penalty shoot-outs are unfair

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has stated that soccer can be a "tragedy" when a match is decided by a penalty shoot-out, goal.com reports. Blatter believes that soccer's true nature is lost when a match is decided by penalties, and hinted that other options will be explored in the future.

"Football can be a tragedy when you go to penalty kicks," Blatter said according to the BBC. "Football should not go to one on one, when it goes to penalty kicks football loses its essence.

Buffon: My future will always be with Juventus

Juventus legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has said on Saturday to Italian media that his future will always be with the Old Lady. "My future will always be painted in black and white," he told Radio Deejay. "We still have important goals to fight for after all the Scudetti we have won over the years.

The 34-year-old custodian has been a vital part of Juve's setup since joining the club from Parma in 2001 in a deal worth 54 million euros.
